Baen Free Library - Provides free science fiction books to be read online or downloaded in various formats. Almost 40 authors are represented, including Andre Norton, Mercedes Lackey, David Weber, and John Ringo. Find available books by author, title, or series. They really are free.

Contemporary Authors - A database with biographical information on 90,000 writers, with awards received,
brief excerpts from reviews, lists of books by and about.

General Reference Center Gold - A database including thousands of book reviews.

Literature Resource Center - biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of more than 120,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists, and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most-studied authors.

FirstSearch (OCLC) WorldCat - A large database including over 41 MILLION books and manuscripts dating back
to the 12th century. Many of the books indexed here can be requested through our Interlibrary Loan program.
