excerpts of reviews from many magazines and journals.
Booklist
Magazine - Librarian's selection tool offering
reviews of books and audio-visual titles for adults
and children. It also offers author interviews, bibliographies,
and book-related essays by well-known writers. Some
of these features are still available to anyone, but
an increasing number are restricted to access by subscribers
only.
General
Reference Center Gold - Magazine database which
Brevard County Libraries subscribes to, indexes thousands
of book reviews.
New
York Times on the Web - Offers access to full
text reviews back to 1980 (although a free registration
is required). Includes hundreds of first chapters
of titles reviewed in the New York Times Book Review
or on their bestseller list.
