you do not live in Brevard County but wish our library
staff to do an obituary search for you, here is the
procedure to follow:
If you do not know the newspaper or publication
date, the library staff will do a search for you.
First, check Obituary
Research in Brevard County (NOTE: THE LINK IS http://www.brev.org/about_bcl/reference/obit_research_brevard.htm)
to be sure that we have the appropriate newspaper
for your search. For a search, send a stamped, self-addressed
envelope to the address below. Enclose $2.00 to cover
the cost of the copies. Include the name of the deceased,
the city of death, and the date of death within two
weeks. Most of the newspapers on microfilm do not
have indexes, and staff cannot conduct and extensive
search for you without this information.
If you know the newspaper name, date of publication
and the page number, send stamped, self-address envelope
to the address below. Please enclose $2.00 to cover
the cost of the copies. Include the name of the deceased,
newspaper name, date of publication and page number.
